As part of the Green Event Day on 27.04.22 at the Prolight+Sound trade fair in Frankfurt, Stefan Lohmann, an expert on sustainability in the event industry and founder of Sustainable Event Solutions, will give a talk on the topic of opportunities for sustainable business in the event industry.

(Hamburg / Frankfurt - 21.04.2022) Prolight + Sound Frankfurt am Main is the international trade fair for technologies and services for entertainment, integrated systems and creation. From 26-29 April, numerous exhibitors will provide a comprehensive overview of all products and services in the event industry.

Stefan Lohmann is a talent buyer and artist relations manager from Hamburg. His service portfolio includes live entertainment concepts for concerts, festivals, corporate events, TV formats, sporting events and open air events.
As an expert on sustainability in the event industry, he regularly writes articles in the most important trade journals and book contributions and is active in various networks and associations. His goal is the transformation of the entire event industry towards a climate-neutral and sustainable event industry.

About the initiative "16 Steps to 2025 - For a climate-neutral event industry".
Numerous industry associations, media and networks of the Green Economy and the event industry promote the "16 Steps Programme" in their environment. The goal is to actively become more climate-neutral and sustainable step by step together with the entire industry. The 16 Steps are published quarterly - step by step - together to reach as many as possible.
The aim is for the event industry to achieve a minimum standard for climate-neutral sustainable events by 2025. The individual steps are based on the Sustainability Rider incl. checklist by Stefan Lohmann. The Rider is ISO and EMAS compliant, has been reviewed by experts and has already been reviewed and published several times in national and international trade magazines. Free download:
