The darmstadtium - modern, digital and sustainable
Sustainable Events demonstrate responsibility and awareness on the part of providers and companies for the environment and society. As a showpiece for sustainability, resource conservation and intelligent energy use, the darmstadtium is the first congress center with EMASplus certification in Europe. In the event industry, it is considered a pioneer in the megatrend of digitization and offers organizers and guests optimal in-house catering. "Germany's fastest convention center" has a redundant 20 gigabit Internet connection that can be scaled up to 100 gigabits and offers optimal connectivity at all times.
The thoroughly scalable room concept of the darmstadtium makes almost anything possible. In total, the darmstadtium has 26 rooms / halls. In particular, the spectrum hall for up to 1677 visitors literally offers the full spectrum of possibilities. The congress hall can be divided several times and is equipped with the latest conference and meeting technology. The ferrum hall offers space for up to 383 people in rising cinema seating with folding business tables with complementary foyer areas on two levels. Ideally suited for smaller congresses, conferences and presentations. The room concept of our 21 conference rooms is also characterized by maximum flexibility and a wide range of possible combinations.
The darmstadtium has 18 conference rooms on levels 2 and 3 for a total of up to 1,300 people (21 conference rooms in all). The offer is complemented by the darmstadtium Lounge (up to 140 people), which is perfectly suited for events in exclusive and smaller settings. The copernicium and dynamicum rooms are adjacent to the atrium and have a capacity of between 200 - 250 people. They can also be opened and integrated into the atrium. For the start of the evening event with a sundowner can also be used on the roof terrace of up to 200 people.

As a comprehensive sustainability concept, it expands the ecological perspective to include social, ethical and economic issues.
Operational environmental management, future-oriented corporate activity and the perception of social and ethical responsibility are firmly anchored in the structures and processes of the darmstadtium. As an EMASplus-certified congress center, corporate activities are based on standards that go far beyond legal requirements and are continuously developed.
