At the Meet Germany Summit on 25.08.21 in Berlin, the event industry will meet for exchange, further education and inspiration. Because there can be no more "business as usual" in the event industry. Live entertainment and sustainability expert Stefan Lohmann will give an insight into what is behind the term "green entertainment", what a sustainable exhibition stand can look like and what huge opportunities arise for the industry through climate-neutral and sustainable events.
Meet Germany is one of the largest networks in the event industry with over 3000 event planners. The "class reunion" of the event and MICE industry offers exciting exhibitors, in-depth keynotes, regional location highlights and versatile networking and presentation opportunities under the motto: The [R]Evolution of Business - People, Technology, Planet - i.e. important topics such as sustainability and digitalisation.
At the evening event in the sustainable Humboldt Carrè, Stefan Lohmann will open the event together with Tanja Schramm (CEO Meet Germany) at 7 pm. Together they will present a new initiative that unites the event industry, its networks and associations in their efforts to become more sustainable and climate neutral. The event industry is supported by the 2 largest associations of the Green Economy and EMAS - or the Environmental Verification Committee, which advises the German government. ARD Croatia Commissioner and The Vikings star Lenn Kudrjawizki will also be on site. He will be presenting the mobile version Brass&Beats of his sustainably acting Berlin Show Orchestras. Stefan Lohmann is a talent buyer and artist relations manager from Hamburg. His service portfolio includes live entertainment concepts for concerts, festivals and events.
As an expert on sustainability in the event industry, he regularly writes articles in the most important trade journals and book contributions and is active in various networks and associations. He has been in charge of the German Sustainability Award for many years and is an official partner.
Together with actor, director and musician Lenn Kudrjawizki, Stefan Lohmann founded the sustainable Berlin Show Orchestra. This modern orchestra accompanies international stars, shows and events in the implementation of the respective event concept.
Its declared goal is the transformation of the event industry towards a climate-neutral and sustainable circular economy.
