The focus is not on short-term benefits, but on long-term success. We are driven by a great responsibility towards nature as well as present and future generations. We increasingly understand the opportunities that lie in long-term thinking - for our company, Germany and the world. This does not mean that we lose our short-term dynamism by planning for the long term. It means that we align our short-term goals with the long-term.
As a family business, we think of business and ethics as one. Therefore, future generations should have the same opportunities in life as we do. For the present, this means that we are already reducing our impact on the climate and the environment by carefully examining what we can optimise in our processes. Measures such as reducing CO2 emissions and waste, creating an electric fleet to contribute to the mobility revolution, and forming a network of partners who share our values and follow them equally are just some of the steps we can take. We are all striving together to implement company-specific measures in addition to legal requirements, so that here, too, we do not only achieve what is obligatory, but what is possible. We are convinced that working together on ecological issues is a matter close to everyone's heart because we want to preserve an environment worth living in.
In addition to the future, we also think about the present generations. That is why we place a lot of emphasis on health promotion and have taken a variety of measures to this end: We sponsor bicycles, organise health days and are always looking for new impulses for a good work-life balance for our employees. The safety of all employees, customers and partners is our top priority. With high-quality materials, safe machines and production techniques as well as constant training, we guarantee a safe working environment that is always state of the art. As a company based in Aachen, we feel closely connected to the region, even though we now operate worldwide. That is why we are strongly committed to the regional environment, for example in the "Aachen Clever Mobil" pilot project, the support of local clubs or the daily fruit for our employees, which comes from the local farmer.

This allows us to use internal and external resources in a targeted way to ensure the highest level of product quality and service - without overburdening the company and its partners. We are aware that we, our partners and customers still have a long way to go to be truly sustainable with the environment, society and people. We come from an age of extreme consumption, the "take, use, waste" mentality. Habits are hard to change overnight, but we are looking for a collective progress, evolutionary, with moderation and the perseverance it takes today.
