FAQs

Q Does your company have a SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY?

Sustainability at Sinus Event-Technik: Our contribution to a greener future

Sinus Event-Technik considers sustainability not only as an obligation, but as a lived corporate philosophy. In a constant effort to make our operations more ecological and sustainable, we have taken various measures to make a positive impact on the environment.

Electromobility as progress:
We are focusing on the gradual conversion of our vehicle fleet to electric mobility. With six electric vehicles, we have not only chosen an environmentally friendly alternative, but also plan to further expand our fleet electrically in the future. This step not only enables a reduction in CO2 emissions, but also supports the promotion of sustainable locomotion.

Energy generation through photovoltaics:
A key component of our sustainability efforts is the 100 kWp photovoltaic system on our company building. Since 2019, we not only generate the electricity we need, but also feed excess energy into the grid. The plant is not only a source of sustainable energy, but also a contribution to the energy transition.

Electric charging stations and active load management:
We operate 11 electric charging stations on our company premises, which can be used free of charge not only by our fleet but also by customers and employees. These are controlled via active load management, which makes optimum use of the electricity generated by our photovoltaic system. This infrastructure is not only intended to facilitate the switch to electric vehicles, but also to provide an incentive to do so.

Efficient lighting through LED technology:
The complete conversion to LED lighting in our company building and rental fleet is another milestone. LEDs are characterized by their high energy efficiency and durability, which not only saves costs but also reduces significant amounts of CO2 emissions.

Home automation for energy efficiency:
Our responsibility does not end with the technology outside, but also extends to the offices. With the help of smart home automation, we control the heating systems in our premises. This technology ensures that the temperature is automatically turned down when not in use, which contributes to significant energy savings.

Free use for employees and customers:
Our sustainable infrastructures, be it the electric charging stations or the photovoltaic system, are available free of charge not only to our employees but also to our customers. This not only promotes sustainability, but also creates awareness and incentives for an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

At Sinus, we understand sustainability as a comprehensive responsibility towards the environment. By integrating these measures, we aim not only to minimize our environmental footprint, but also to inspire our customers to join us in creating a more sustainable future.

Q To what extent is your service or products sustainable?

Electric fleet at Sinus:
The conversion of our vehicle fleet to electric mobility marks a significant step in our corporate commitment to sustainability. This transformation not only brings immediate benefits for the environment, but also opens up long-term economic and social potential.
1. CO2 reduction and environmental protection:
Electric mobility is key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By switching to electric vehicles, we are significantly minimizing our CO2 emissions. This actively contributes to combating climate change and supports our efforts to leave a positive environmental footprint.
2. cost efficiency and savings:
Electric vehicles are not only environmentally friendly, but also offer business advantages. Operating costs for electric vehicles are often lower compared to traditional internal combustion vehicles. The reduction in fuel costs, combined with lower maintenance requirements, results in long-term cost savings for our company.
3. promotion of renewable energy:
Electric vehicles at Sinus are not powered solely by conventional electricity sources. Our vehicles benefit directly from the energy generated by our company-owned 100 kWp photovoltaic system. This ensures that the majority of the energy needed to run our fleet comes from renewable sources.

Our large rental fleet provides 95% in-house coverage:
The decision to have a significant amount of in-house technology in our rental fleet not only contributes to operational efficiencies, but also brings numerous environmental and sustainability benefits:

1. resource efficiency and circular economy:
Having our own extensive inventory of technology in the rental fleet minimizes the need for external procurement. This means that we make optimum use of existing resources and promote the principles of the circular economy.

2. lower transport emissions:
Acquiring our own technology in the rental fleet minimizes dependence on external suppliers and thus reduces the need to transport equipment over long distances. This leads to a reduction in CO2 emissions associated with transporting products. Short transportation distances also mean less traffic on the roads, which has a positive impact on the environment and the local community.

3. Flexibility and rapid response:
Our extensive in-house inventory allows for great flexibility and quick responsiveness to customer requests. We can support a variety of events with our own technology without having to wait for outside vendors. This not only improves customer satisfaction, but also minimizes the need for last-minute, rush deliveries that often come with higher environmental costs.

Conversion to LED technologies:
1. energy efficiency, cost savings and CO2 reduction:
LED technology is characterized by its high energy efficiency, which significantly reduces energy consumption. This results in direct cost savings for our customers, as the energy required for lighting events is significantly reduced. At the same time, LEDs enable a longer service life, resulting in lower maintenance costs. The use of LED lighting technology actively contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions. Compared to conventional lighting technologies, LEDs consume less energy and therefore release fewer greenhouse gases. This ecological aspect reflects the joint contribution to a more environmentally friendly, sustainable event operation

2. flexibility and creativity:
LED lighting allows for a wide range of colors and effects, which greatly expands the design options for events. The flexibility of LED technology opens up opportunities for our customers to design their events in creative ways while reaping the sustainable benefits. An innovative lighting concept can enhance the atmosphere and intensify the event experience.
