While the idea for RUNES Vodka comes from Germany, the ingredients for the European quality product are traditionally sourced and processed in Poland, the cradle of vodka.
Only the best raw materials are used for the crystal-clear spirit: the basis is purest water from the distillery's own source and aromatic rye from organic & vegan-certified regional farmers around the distillery.
The idea behind the brand is a team from the areas of gastronomy, product development and project management, united by a common vision: to create a product that brings people together - whether casually at the bar, in a special setting at selected events or simply comfortably at home with friends. We are close to the target group, have a personal perspective and have developed a unique product at an affordable price with a lot of passion, ambition and attention to detail. While the co-founders Tobias, Fabian and Marcel primarily contribute their many years of entrepreneurial experience in the field of gastronomy, Jan, Stefano, Kai and Sebastian enrich the team with their knowledge in the fields of management, IT and product development. A sense for existing gaps in the market, the courage to take entrepreneurial risks and the professional know-how finally led to the final implementation in summer 2019. Here in Stuttgart, German entrepreneurial spirit meets traditional Polish craftsmanship. The result: an authentic spirit that is as timeless as it is contemporary.

Does your company have a SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY?
All products are designed to be as sustainable as possible. Durable and resource-saving products are close to our hearts. Short and optimal transport routes are a matter of course for us, along with paperless process handling.
To what extent are their services and products sustainable?
Our Organic Vodka is certified organic and vegan. The entire product creation process takes place in Poland. Ingredients are sourced and processed around the distillery. Our bottle strip as well as our packaging tape is made of recycled paper, as is our entire outer packaging.
For our bar tools, we only use materials that are as robust and durable as possible. If something should break, we offer spare parts for our tools so that they can be repaired and not disposed of.
